WATER CONDITIONER V

METALWORKING FLUID ADDITIVE

 

WATER CONDITIONER V is a metalworking fluid additive, which can be added to the mix water in central systems and individual machines to soften the water.

 

OPERATIONS:

 

Use with semi-synthetic and soluble oil products as directed by CIMCOOL® Technical Services to resolve hard water problems in emulsion products.

 

Note: A water analysis is necessary to determine the proper amount of Water Conditioner V; excessive amounts may lead to rust, and/or foam problems.

 

APPLICATION:

 

If hard water is known to be a problem, mix Water Conditioner V with water before the metalworking fluid concentrate is added to prevent mix stability problems. Water Conditioner V can also be used to re-stabilize used mixes.

 

Pour WATER CONDITIONER V directly into the “clean” side of a central filtration system where contamination is the lowest and will be least likely to reduce its effectiveness. For individual machines, add directly to the sump (machine reservoir).

 

RECOMMENDED STARTING DILUTIONS

 

FOR INDUSTRIAL USE ONLY

 

Recommended Starting Dilution	0.05% (1:2,000)
Typical Operating Range	0.05% (1:2,000) to 0.10% (1:1,000)
