DESCRIPTION

 

OAK DRAW 951 is a metalworking oil specially developed for a vacuum or thermal de-oiling process.

 

APPLICATION

 

OAK DRAW 951 is recommended for fin production or stamping processes on aluminum and aluminum alloys.

 

Compatibility with manufacturing process and finished unit should be tested.

 

FEATURES & BENEFITS

 

LUBRICITY:

 

Has been pre-tested on aluminum fin mills, providing extended die and tool life and maximizing forming operations. High lubricity and wet-ability for drawing aluminum sheet stock.

 

POST-CLEANING:

 

Eliminates post-cleaning operations by aqueous or vapor methods.

 

Can be removed in a vacuum furnace, CAB (Controlled Atmosphere Brazing) furnace, or a thermal de-oiling furnace.

 

Vaporizes 100% at a relatively low furnace temperature or by heat from the formed product.

 

CORROSION CONTROL:

 

Non-staining on all aluminum and aluminum alloys.

 

RECOMMENDED STARTING DILUTIONS

 

OAK DRAW 951 is used as received (100%) and may be applied by immersion or spray methods. Add no other materials to the concentrate unless approved by your CIMCOOL representative.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

 

If frozen, product separates. Thaw completely at room temperature and stir prior to use. Inside storage is recommended.
