EVAPORATIVE LUBRICANT

 

DESCRIPTION

 

OAK DRAW 518 is an “evaporative” lubricant developed for stamping and drawing.

 

APPLICATION

 

OAK DRAW 518 is primarily used to stamp and draw cold roll, stainless, copper, brass and aluminum where post cleaning is prohibited.

 

The “evaporative” nature of this unique lubricant supplies high boundary lubrication, without leaving unsightly residues that interfere with subsequent assembling and/or manufacturing processes.

 

FEATURES & BENEFITS

 

CLEANLINESS:

 

“Evaporates” at room temperature after use, requiring no post cleaning. Clean running product that does not contain oil.

 

CORROSION:

 

Non-staining to aluminum and aluminum alloys.

 

ECONOMICAL:

 

Contains no water to promote rancidity, thereby ensuring optimum shelf-life in lubricant reservoirs. Low end use cost.

 

ASH LESS:

 

Contains ash less additives conforming to many FDA regulations.

 

RECOMMENDED STARTING DILUTIONS

 

OAK DRAW 518 is used as received (100%) and may be applied by spray, dip or brush methods. Add no other materials to the concentrate unless approved by your CIMCOOL representative.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

 

If frozen, product separates, Thaw completely at room temperature and stir thoroughly prior to use. Inside storage is recommended.
