EVAPORATIVE LUBRICANT

 

DESCRIPTION

 

OAK DRAW 503 is an “evaporative” lubricant developed for fin stamping and collar drawing in the air conditioning and heat transfer industries.

 

APPLICATION

 

OAK DRAW 503 is primarily used to stamp and draw aluminum sheet stock where post cleaning is prohibited.

 

The “evaporative” nature of this unique lubricant supplies high boundary lubrication, while leaving minimal residue.

LUBRICITY:

 

Has been pre-tested on fin lines around the world, providing good die and tool life.

 

CLEANLINESS:

 

After use, parts may not require post cleaning. Clean running product that does not contain oil.

 

CORROSION:

 

Non-staining to aluminum and copper.

 

ECONOMICAL:

 

Contains no water to promote rancidity, thereby ensuring optimum shelf-life in lubricant reservoirs. Low end use cost.

 

RECOMMENDED STARTING DILUTIONS

 

OAK DRAW 503 is used as received (100%) and may be applied by spray, dip or brush methods. Add no other materials to the concentrate unless approved by your CIMCOOL representative.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

 

If frozen, product separates, Thaw completely at room temperature and stir thoroughly prior to use. Inside storage is recommended.
