METALWORKING OIL
DESCRIPTION
OAK 11B LA is a metalworking oil with a polymeric-based expanding, bending and forming lubricant developed to meet the product and process requirements of the air conditioning and heat transfer industries.
OAK 11B LA lubricant has been specifically designed to have low levels of formate and acetate generation when hydrolyzed. This is believed to reduce the chances of formicary corrosion.
APPLICATION
OAK 11B LA has been chemically engineered to form copper tubing on hairpin benders, return benders, straight tube cut-offs and expanders.
Customer will need to confirm compatibility with entire installed working unit.
FEATURES & BENEFITS
LUBRICITY:
Outstanding hydrodynamic and boundary lubrication to maximize formability. Pre-tested on our machinery under “real world” working conditions.
CLEANLINESS:
Does not require post cleaning or leave heavy deposits on machine parts or tooling. Contains no mineral oils, solvents or hazardous materials. Low levels of acetate and formate generation.
ASH LESS:
Contains ash less ingredients to ensure excellent brazing.
CORROSION:
Non-staining to copper and cuprous alloys.
ECONOMICAL:
Contains no water to promote rancidity, thereby ensuring optimum shelf life in lubricant reservoirs.
RECOMMENDED STARTING DILUTIONS
OAK 11B LA is used as received (100%) and may be applied by spray, dip or brush methods. Add no other materials to the concentrate unless approved by your CIMCOOL representative.
