DESCRIPTION:

 

MILFORM OAK DRAW 704-HP is a heavy duty, water dilutable, synthetic metal forming fluid designed for ferrous and most non-ferrous materials.

 

KEY PROPERTIES:

 

·       MILFORM OAK DRAW 704-HP contains extreme pressure and boundary lubricants, used to improve die life and reduced tool wear.

·       MILFORM OAK DRAW 704-HP forms a translucent mix that is easily cleaned off in alkaline spray washers.

·       Can be applied by spray, flood, or drip.

 

APPLICATION:

 

The product was designed and developed for deep drawing, stamping, punching, piercing, and bending of ferrous and most non-ferrous materials.

 

RECOMMENDED STARTING DILUTIONS:

 

MILFORM OAK DRAW 704-HP is to be mixed with water for use. Always add concentrate to water. Add no other materials to the concentrate or mix unless approved by your Territory Manager. The proper concentration of MILFORM OAK DRAW 704-HP for a particular metal forming process will vary dependent upon the type of metal, gauge of metal, process involved and method of lubricant application.

 

·       Stamping and Drawing use between 10 & 50%

·       Refractometer Factor: 1.1

·       10% Mix pH is typically 8.2

 

SAFE HANDLING & STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:

 

Before handling and using, the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) should be read and understood by all personnel in contact with this product. If frozen, thaw completely at room temperature. Inside storage is recommended.
