Hydrolubric 123-B is a synthetic water additive specifically designed to meet the needs of central water systems - hydraulic systems incorporating reciprocating piston, multi-stage centrifugal or multi-stage gear pumps. At the recommended 2% concentration, polar synthetic components in Hydrolubric 123-B provide a film on metal surfaces that effectively reduces friction and provides protection against aqueous corrosion. Hydrolubric 123-B also contains additives to protect systems from bacterial and fungal infections.
Hydrolubric 123-B is readily dispersible in water and is completely compatible with conventional soluble oils. Being a soluble synthetic, Hydrolubric 123-B solutions are also compatible with industrial ethylene and propylene glycol, as well as commercial permanent antifreeze.
Hydrolubric 123-B is biodegradable and offers advantages in handling and disposal.

COMPATIBILITY
Metals
Suited for use in components which have steel, cast iron, copper, brass, bronze and anodized aluminum parts. Avoid zinc, cadmium, lead and magnesium. Cadmium plated parts can be used with this product.
Elastomer Packings and Seals*
Compatible with Buna N, Butyl, EPR, Silicone, Viton and Neoprene elastomers. Not compatible with some polyurethanes.
*Seal material properties can vary within a classification depending upon compounding techniques. Compounding can enhance or diminish various properties and characteristics. In the case of Buna N, certain formulas will be more resistant to water than others. This can also be said for some of the urethanes. Leather and cork are best avoided. Consult your packing and seal supplier for specific recommendations.
