Houghto-Draw 33

HIGHLY FORTIFIED, MEDIUM VISCOSITY METAL FORMING LUBRICANT

 

Houghto-Draw 33 is a medium viscosity drawing oil designed for use on medium to heavy duty forming operations where carbon and stainless steel are being used.  Houghto-Draw 33 contains no pigment or sulfur and is especially suited to high speed processes where excessive heat is generated.  Houghto-Draw 33 contains a highly chlorinated additive plus a fatty oil which enhances wetting and clings to metal.  Houghto-Draw 33 can handle multiple operations, including deep drawing, piercing, stamping and perforating.

 

APPLICATION

 

Houghto-Draw 33 is recommended to be used neat, but can be diluted with light mineral oil.  Product may be applied by swab, brush, roller coat, dip or spray.

 

CLEANING

 

Houghto-Draw 33 can be removed by most alkaline cleaners or by vapor degreasing.  Use Cerfa-Kleen HST @ 6-8 oz./gal. @ 180°F.
