HIGHLY CHLORINATED METAL FORMING LUBRICANT FOR CARBON AND STAINLESS STEEL

 

Houghto-Draw 3105 is a versatile lubricant for the carbon and stainless steel forming industry.  This product is a high viscosity oil with extreme pressure additives, about the consistency of honey.  Houghto-Draw 3105 contains highly chlorinated wax, plus, a fatty oil which enhances wetting on metal surfaces.

 

Houghto-Draw 3105 is a unique drawing compound which enables the most difficult forming operations, such as, heavy gauge stainless steel tube reduction and bending to the precision forming of surgical medical instruments.

 

APPLICATION

 

Houghto-Draw 3105 is recommended to be used neat but can be diluted with light mineral oil.  Product may be applied by swab, brush, roller coat or dilutions by dip or spray.

 

CLEANING

 

Houghto-Draw 3105 can be removed by most conventional alkaline cleaning systems.  Cerfa-Kleen HST at 6-8 oz./gal. at 180°F, or Cerfa-Kleen 3544 at 5-10% concentration at 160-180°F can also be used.  May also be removed in a vapor degreasing system.
