METALWORKING FLUID ADDITIVE
FOAM DEPRESSANT is a water conditioner which can be added to soft water (less than 100 ppm hardness), in individual machines or central system reservoirs to prevent foam problems.
OPERATIONS:
Most effective when added to mix water before making CIMCOOL® metalworking fluid mixes as directed by CIMCOOL® Technical Services. Use when excessive foam is anticipated because of soft water. It is recommended for any emulsion-type product.
Note: Run a water analysis to determine hardness before using FOAM DEPRESSANT. Excessive use may cause hard water scum or cause emulsions to become unstable.
APPLICATION:
Pour FOAM DEPRESSANT into mix water (of less than 100 ppm) before adding concentrate.
