Highly Versatile Synthetic Metal Forming Lubricant

 

DESCRIPTION

 

Drawsol WM 4740 is a heavy-duty water soluble synthetic lubricant recommended for a broad range of metal forming operations. It performs well drawing and forming auto exhaust and seating components, lawn implements, barbeque grills, tube bending, and other high demand applications.

 

Drawsol WM 4740 is a unique blend of film strength enhancers, corrosion inhibitors, and extreme pressure additives. It is recommended for a broad range of metals including steel, stainless, titanium, and aluminized alloys. It is EP treated and has good carry through for multiple die and deep draw applications.

 

Drawsol WM 4740 can be applied by spray, roller coaters, drip, or by hand. It resists hard water and is easily filtered in recirculating systems.

FEATURES

Drawsol WM 4740 can be used neat to 3:1 for deep draws and difficult forming. For less severe operations (drawing, stamping, blanking), concentrations of 4:1 to 10:1 are common.

 

Concentrations can easily be determined using a refractometer.

 

Product should be stored at temperatures above 50ºF.
