CLEANING AGENT MD

METALWORKING FLUID ADDITIVE

 

CLEANING AGENT MD is a non-silicone liquid additive that improves foam control and residue characteristics. For use in CIMCOOL® water-based cutting, grinding, and drawing fluids.

 

OPERATIONS:

 

Add to CIMCOOL® water-based cutting, grinding or drawing fluid mixes under the direction of CIMCOOL® Technical Services when foam or residue is an issue.

 

In some solution-type fluids, Cleaning Agent MD may control foam for longer periods of time than silicone-type antifoams.

 

Helps dissolve residue on machine tools and drawing dies.

 

APPLICATION:

 

Pour Cleaning Agent MD directly into the “clean” side of central filtration system where contamination is the lowest and will be least likely to reduce its effectiveness.

 

When applying Cleaning Agent MD to drawing dies wipe on with a rag or sponge, or spray dies using spray bottle.

 

RECOMMENDED STARTING DILUTIONS

0.05% (1:2,000) to 0.2% (1:500)
