DESCRIPTION

 

CIMGUARD PRODUCTO HT-109 is a water-based corrosion inhibitor designed as a cooling water additive for hot testing. It is also ideal for use in other types of cooling systems and in air pressure leak detection immersion tanks.

 

APPLICATION

 

CIMGUARD PRODUCTO HT-109 provides protection against the corrosion of cast iron, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals. It is compatible with all components of an engine cooling system. It will have no effect on a variety of plastic and rubber gaskets and seals. For optimal rust prevention during shipment or storage of parts, allow products to dry completely prior to packaging or stacking. Always test the product in advance to confirm that it meets required performance standards for your operations.

 

FEATURES & BENEFITS

 

·         Rejects oil which can contaminate hot test coolants from a variety of sources. Its solutions will not emulsify or solubilize motor and honing oils.

·         Has demonstrated a low susceptibility to biological degradation. There is generally no need for biocide treatment of re-circulating, closed-loop systems.

·         Responds readily to conventional waste treatment procedures. It is nitrite and chromate free.

 

RECOMMENDED STARTING DILUTIONS:

 

CIMGUARD PRODUCTO HT-109 is to be mixed with water for use. Always add concentrate to water. Add no other materials to the concentrate or mix unless approved by your CIMCOOL® District Manager.

 

Hot Testing	3% (0.83 on the refractometer scale)
