DESCRIPTION and APPLICATION

 

CIMCLEAN 50 is a multipurpose cleaner. It is an effective system cleaner for individual and central system clean out. CIMCLEAN 50 is recommended for cleaning individual machine and central system reservoirs, metalworking fluid lines, premix tanks, machines and parts and as an additive to improve a fluids sump life.

·         It effectively removes bio-films, dirt, grit, chip-deposits, insoluble soaps and oils from central systems and individual machine sumps.

·         Improved mildness to skin compared to other machine cleaners.

·         Contains ferrous corrosion inhibitors to protect machines and parts from rusting.

METHODS OF APPLICATION:

 

CIMCLEAN 50 can be used as a tank side additive or as a machine cleaner, all of which are effective:

 

As a tank side additive: During production, add CIMCLEAN 50 to the dirty fluid in the machine reservoir or central system to improve the cleanliness of the metalworking system. The use dilution is 0.5% to 1.0% for this purpose. Make additions of cleaner as needed.

 

As a sump cleaner after draining: Drain used metalworking fluid and charge system with 2% CIMCLEAN 50. Circulate for at least 2-4 hours through all lines and machine tools. Drain, rinse and recharge.

 

As a sump cleaner with used fluid during shutdown: After production ceases, add one gallon of CIMCLEAN 50 concentrate to each 50 gallons of dirty fluid (2%) in the machine reservoir or central system. Circulate the mixture for four hours or longer through all lines and machine tools. Drain, rinse, and recharge.

 

RECOMMENDED STARTING DILUTIONS:

 

CIMCLEAN 50 is to be mixed with water for use. Always add concentrate to water. Add no other materials to the concentrate or mix unless approved by your CIMCOOL® District Manager.
