QH EXOMAX 5391

QH EXOMAX 5391 is a non-nitrited, spray cleaner with short-term in-plant rust protection.  QH EXOMAX 5391 presents no barrier to subsequent coating or welding.  QH EXOMAX 5391 has proven to be an excellent alternative to the use of solvent emulsion cleaners and organic synthetics.  It works very well in barrel and vibratory cleaning, and may be used in all stages of multi-stage washers.  The low organic formula provides for excellent waste treatability.

CONTROL

 

A working bath is controlled by titration:

 

1.        Take 25 ml. sample of bath

2.        Fill buret with 0.1 N HCl

3.        Add 4 to 6 drops bromphenol blue indicator to sample

4.        Titrate to yellow endpoint and record ml. of titrant

 

Equivalent:  4.5 mls. Titrant = 1% Concentration

 

APPLICATIONS

 

QH EXOMAX 5391 may be used to remove shop soils, such as soluble coolants, cutting oils and metal forming compounds.
