PROCESS PARTS CLEANER

 

DESCRIPTION

 

CIMCLEAN IM-604 is a versatile water-based parts cleaner and corrosion inhibitor for all metals ( other than magnesium) . This product is free of DEA, DEA compounds, DCHA, phosphates, boron, and silicones.

 

APPLICATION

 

VERSATILITY: This product is excellent in dip, immersion, ultrasonic, tumbling applications. It is able to clean with minimal agitation and has excellent rinsing properties. When heated this product may also be applied by spray.

 

FEATURES & BENEFITS

 

CLEANLINESS: Emulsification properties allow for both optimal part cleanliness and extended sump life. This product temporarily emulsifies typical quench oils during the washing process to prevent re-deposition onto cleaned parts and then, with time, rejects oils for extend sump life.

 

RECOMMENDED STARTING DILUTION

 

CIMCLEAN IM-604 is to be mixed with water for use. Always add concentrate to water. Fluid may be more difficult to mix when water temperature is below 55°F. Add no other materials to the concentrate or mix unless approved by your CIMCOOL® District Manager.

 

Spray Washers: 3 to 5% (1:33 to 1:20) Ambient to 140°F

 

Dip/Immersion: 5 to 10% (1:20 to 1:10) Ambient to 140°F

 

Ultrasonic Washers: 3 to 10% (1:33 to 1:10) Ambient to 140°F

 

Total Alkalinity or Refractometer can be used

 

CONCENTRATION

 

The Refractometer Factor is 3.8.

 

Calibrate and use refractometer as directed. Remove gross contaminants from the sample mixes before testing. A refractometer is only recommended for use in checking the concentration on a fresh charge.

HANDLING & STORAGE

 

If frozen, product separates. Thaw completely at room temperature and stir thoroughly prior to use. Inside storage is recommended.
